Festival Latino

One of the causes close to my heart during my time in Orange City was Festival Latino. The premise of the festival is “celebrating diversity” due to the growing Hispanic population in this Iowa Dutch-heritage small town. My role as volunteer Marketing Coordinator was to grow the online presence of Festival Latino and develop all marketing pieces. Although the festival existed for a couple of years before I arrived in Orange City, my first task was to establish a visual identifier. From there, it rolled out onto flyers, newspaper ads, local TV ads, event collateral and promotional merchandise.
